On the Prevalence of Violence Against Older Adults in Austria

In December 2024, the project “On the Prevalence of Violence Against Older Adults in Austria,” initiated and led by the European Centre for Social Welfare Policy and Research, was launched. The IKF and the Austrian Interdisciplinary Platform on Ageing (ÖPIA) are project partners. This exploratory project examines, on the one hand, the feasibility of prevalence surveys in light of international experience and, on the other hand, seeks to advance the development of suitable methodological tools for Austria, which will subsequently serve as the basis for further systematic surveys in Austria.
